Happy New Year and welcome to 2024! I, Donna Kelm, am honored to be part of ECRW serving again as your president. Previously I served  as VP of Programs and then Treasurer consecutively. Also, I’ve been the newsletter editor for the past three years and continuously revamping our website.  Currently a Deputy Voter Registrar. This past year, I attended the National Federation of Republican Women's Convention and Texas Federation of Republican Women Convention.

My background includes 39 years of Finance with emphasis on cost accounting; also decorating, while co-owning/managing a restaurant for 7 years.

My husband Derek and I have been married 19 years. We have a blended family with three sons and four grandchildren. My family will tell you I love to work, love kids, traveling and enjoy fellowship. We are active members of Community Bible Church in Odessa where I serve as Sunday School teacher and greeter.

ECRW’s focus is to continue to educate and engage, but also support and promote individuals with a passion for politics. Government starts locally and we as individuals need to be involved from the city upward. We look forward to supporting new candidates.  Women, we must unite if we want to win in 2024. We must encourage unity not uniformity.

I encourage you to use all the resources available on our website and keep updated with our newsletter.  Education and communication will empower women and we all need to make the effort to stay politically informed to share our message to keep Texas RED!

We have many opportunities for you to get connected with our like-minded members. Please join our monthly luncheons held at Odessa Country Club, located at #1 Fairway Dr. in Odessa every third Wednesday at 11:30. Except for October will be on the 4th Wednesday. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ecrwodessa.com. Our luncheons are an excellent way to connect, be educated and informed, with awareness of your surroundings in our city, state and national government.
